i often wonder about how far off center my side part is, and how that will effect my day. and just as often a work friend will put my part where they think it should be by 10am. but where they think the part should be is rarely in the same spot. and most days that i leave the house with a pony tail i come home with an inside out braid or funky bun. (i love my job)
Parted my hair on the left today after I took a shower. Even if I do decide to not part it in the middle (which I alway’s do) I part it on the right. Went to breakfast, came home, did yard work, jumped in the shower. When I got out I couldn’t wait to part my hair in the middle. Ahhhh symmetry. Felt like myself the rest of the day.
I fix that by not having a parting in the first place. There’s just this “dot” spot at the top of my head, everything flows from there.
No, but I’ve accidentally woken up with my part on the wrong side and freaked out. I feel like I look like a different person!

I found out about 12 months ago I’d been parting the wrong side for pretty much 24 years :o)

I tried George Castanza’s practice of doing the opposite, including my hair part. It didn’t work & it did ruin my day.
